Procedures for Wristband Distribution & First-day Ticket Sales for Events - FOR SELECT EVENTS ONLY

Wristband distribution is a system that provides event customers a place in-line for the opportunity to purchase tickets on the first day of ticket sales for select events. This system has been designed for events at the Frank Erwin Center to provide convenience, efficient and equitable ticket purchasing opportunities for ticket buyers.

By following the procedures below, wristband distribution and the first day of event ticket sales, will be an objective and organized event for the Frank Erwin Center event ticket buyer.

 
Wristband Distribution

Wristbands are distributed prior to the day tickets go on sale. After an announcement has been made, wristbands are available at the Frank Erwin Center from 9AM and 6PM and H-E-B's TicketCenters during each outlet's business center hours. Wristbands will be available through the day prior to the first day of ticket sales. No bands will be available the first day of ticket sales.

Only one wristband per customer will be allowed and must be attached to the individual before they leave the wristband distribution location.

A customer will not receive a wristband if they arrive at a location with another location's wristband. The wristband only guarantees a place in line, not the location of seats for an event. Wristbands do not ensure the availability of tickets for a high demand performance. Wristbands will be distributed to anyone with photo identification.

Wristbands are distributed in consecutive numbered order.

First Day of Ticket Sales

Wristband wearers must return to the location where they received their wristband at least 30 minutes before the start of the ticket sale.

Approximately 30 minutes before the start of ticket sales, a number will be randomly drawn in front of band holders at the Frank Erwin Center or called-in to the outlets. The number drawn will be based on number of wristbands distributed at each location. AT THE FRANK ERWIN CENTER ONLY: A number will be drawn until there is someone present with the same wristband number that is selected. The ticket buyers will then be placed in line according to the drawn number and continue to the highest number, going back to the first band handed out and continuing to the number that immediately precedes the drawn number. For example if 50 bands were distributed at a particular wristband location and #31 is selected, the person with the #31 wristband is not present, another number will be drawn to determine the first person with an opportunity to purchase tickets. When a number is successfully selected of a present wristband customer, the line up will begin with that drawn number (i.e. #15), followed by the next consecutive numbers (i.e. #16, #17, etc.). When the person with #50 is in the line, the line will continue with person with #1, #2, up to #14.

Anyone arriving after the selection of the line starting number, with or without a wristband, will be placed at the end of the line (formed behind those with wristbands that were present 30 minutes prior to the sale).

Wristbands are non-transferable and any band that appears to have been tampered with in any way will be removed from the line and placed at the end of the line. It will be left to the discretion of the ticket sales supervisor as to whether or not a band has been tampered with.

The passing of money in line will be considered the same as transferring of wristbands. Those parties will be sent to the end of the line.

Payment at any H.E.B. will be with cash only. Payment at the Erwin Center will be with cash, check with appropriate I.D., or Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover with appropriate I.D.
