Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Clown Ambassador Bonzo Crunch will visit Dell Children’s Medical Center to kick off a book drive for the Half Pint Library and bring joy to patients!
AUSTIN, Texas – Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® BARNUM 200SM will roll into the Frank Erwin Center Aug. 17-21 to take audiences on an unbelievable, mind-blowing excursion featuring performers and characters from all over the world. Clown Ambassador Bonzo Crunch will make a special appearance at Dell Children’s Medical Center Tuesday, July 26 at 3 p.m. to kick off a book drive for the Half Pint Library in collaboration with Reading with Ringling Bros.® and will create lots of joy in the process.
Reading with Ringling Bros. is a program created to encourage children ages 2-12 to discover, dream and learn by making reading seriously fun! The program is working with the Half Pint Library who also encourages kids to read by giving books to patients at Dell Children’s Medical Center to take home with them. Dependent on donations, Dell Children’s Child Life in conjunction with Dell Children’s Volunteer Services is asking the public to bring children’s books to donate to the Half Pint Library. In return, each person that donates a book July 26 to Aug. 12 will not only receive a discount coupon for tickets to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey BARNUM 200 performances at the Frank Erwin Center Aug. 17-21, but also a clown nose!
