Street Basketball Association to produce SBA All-Star Celebrity Game at the Frank Erwin Center on the 10th Anniversary of 9/11

Event will feature current professional players, legends and SBA All-Stars!

AUSTIN, Texas – The Street Basketball Association and SBA Sports Management & Entertainment Group will produce the SBA All-Star Celebrity Game at the Frank Erwin Center on the 10-year Anniversary of 9/11. The SBA will bring basketball fans, players, entertainers and musicians together to pay tribute to and remember a day in history where all Americans stood strong and rallied in a unified effort in the face of tragedy. A percentage of the SBA’s proceeds from the event will be donated by the SBA to a 9/11 non-profit organization.
 
The SBA All-Star Celebrity Game will cross all cultural, economic, geographical, racial and social lines in an effort to create an afternoon of family fun and exciting entertainment while honoring the 10-year Anniversary of 9/11. The event will feature a number of the biggest names in street ball such as Hot Sauce, Baby Shaq, Air Up There, Pat Da-Roc and White Chocolate as well as current professional basketball players, entertainers and celebrities. This game will kick-off a series of high-end exhibition games throughout the U.S., Europe and South America.

To build anticipation leading up to the event, the SBA will stagger the announcement of professional basketball players, basketball legends, celebrities and entertainers that are participating in the event. Players will also visit local schools and community centers to speak to children promoting the event and to stress the importance of education, relaying a positive message that with hard work, determination and focus, “Anything is Possible.” Don’t be surprised to see players tweeting about the event or providing status updates on Facebook!
