Austin, TEXAS –The Star Wars fan holiday “The Universal Day of the Jedi” is on May 25, and the Frank Erwin Center is celebrating by hosting a Star Wars “Day of the Jedi” Lunch Party from Noon-2PM. The party will be held at the Frank Erwin Center’s Red River box office and is open to the public and media.

For two hours only, the public will save 25% on the $55 and $65 ticket prices for Star Wars^™: In Concert at the Frank Erwin Center on June 6 at 7PM. Complimentary lunch will be provided by Schlotzsky’s and a Star Wars Stormtrooper will be present for photo and interview opportunities.

“The Universal Day of the Jedi” is an annual Star Wars fan holiday. It was originally created by fans to begin on May 25, 2007, the 30th anniversary of the release of the original Star Wars film which was released on May 25, 1977.

This appearance is in advance of Star Wars: In Concert, a unique multi-media event that will be at the Frank Erwin Center on June 6 for two performances. Star Wars: In Concert features music from all six of John Williams’ epic Star Wars scores accompanied by specifically edited footage from the films displayed on a three-story-tall, high definition LED super-screen.
