AUSTIN, TEXAS – Performing for nearly thirty years, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly has become one of the most influential groups in history and they will be bringing fan favorites such as “Joy and Pain,” “Travelin’ Man” and “I Wanna Thank You” to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on May 3.

Combining a Philadelphia soul sound with a strong appreciation of Marvin Gaye, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly was among the top R&B acts of the late '70s and '80s. The distinctive Maze and its charismatic lead singer, founder, producer and songwriter Beverly are extremely popular among soul and urban contemporary audiences and are known for their magnificent live concerts.

Comedian Damon Williams a former Subway sandwich shop owner from Chicago began his career at All Jokes Aside Comedy Club. Damon's numerous television appearances include BET's “Comicview” annually since '94 including his own one hour special. He's been featured on BET LIVE, Comedy Central's “Premium Blend,” “The Tom Joyner Skyshow” on TV ONE and HBO's “P Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy.” His material is universal and there's something for all ages.
