Press Releases September 26, 2008 Trans-Siberian Orchestra Brings Winter Tour to the Tickets go on sale Saturday, October 4 at 10 a.m. AUSTIN, TEXAS – One of the finest arena attractions in rock music, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, will hit the road this holiday season and make a stop at the Frank Erwin Center on January 4! For the very first time, and due to the high demand of this show in years past, a second performance has been added to accommodate their large and rapidly growing fan base. Based in New York City since 1996, and best known for their rock renditions of traditional Christmas songs, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a spellbinding fusion of a 60-piece orchestra, chorus, and veteran hard rock producer, Paul O’Neill. Their style of music is described as a blend of progressive rock, symphonic metal, and heavy metal, with influences from classical music. They have become a holiday staple in just over a decade, selling out arenas all over the country, including their 2007 show at the Frank Erwin Center. Anyone interested in requesting an interview with Trans-Siberian Orchestra or reviewer passes for the show should contact Kelly Brademan via reply email or phone.
