AUSTIN, TEXAS – The highly anticipated season finale of “So You Think You Can Dance” is right around the corner, but that doesn’t mean the dancing stops there for this season’s Top 10 dancers! Fans of the No. 1 summer show can catch all of their favorite dancers perform live in Austin at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on October 12. The 2008 tour will kick off in September in Tacoma, WA and will spend three months dancing across North America.

The tour will feature popular routines from the TV show as well as new pieces choreographed for the tour. This year’s Top 10 dancers include: Chelsie H, Comfort, Courtney G, Katee, Kherington, Gev, Joshua, Mark, Twitch and Will. Jessica, who recently left the show due to an unfortunate injury, may join her fellow dancers on the nationwide tour pending recovery.

Dancing is infectious; the popularity of dance reality TV shows in the United States has fueled spinoff versions in New Zealand, Turkey, Israel, Canada, Germany, Greece, Poland, Malaysia, as well as several other countries. Emmy-nominated “So You Think You Can Dance” was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe, comes from 19 Entertainment Ltd. and dick clark productions, and is executive-produced by Simon Fuller, Nigel Lythgoe and Barry Adelman.
