AUSTIN, TEXAS –Accompanied by a live band below the stage, Kanye West did not disappoint as his much anticipated “Glow in the Dark Tour” co-starring Rihanna, N.E.R.D and Lupe Fiasco delivered for a sold out crowd of 9,196 at the Frank Erwin Center last night. Following the half hour sets of Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D and Rihanna, Kanye took the stage and blasted through hits such as "Jesus Walks," "Good Life," "Hey Mama" and “Golddigger” before a stage configured with whirling clouds and swirling galaxies.

Thanks to the support of Central Texas, this is the seventh sold out show at the Frank Erwin Center this year. Other 2008 sellouts at the Erwin Center include George Strait with special guest Little Big Town and introducing Sarah Johns (1/10/08), Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus “Best of Both Worlds Tour” with special guest Aly & AJ (1/24/08), WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” (2/4/08), Michael Bublé (2/27/08), Casting Crowns with special guest Leeland and introducing John Waller (4/4/08) and An Evening with Rush (4/23/08).

Since 1977, the Frank Erwin Center has served Central Texans with some of the best in live entertainment. The multi-purpose facility located on The University of Texas at Austin campus, hosts a variety of events including concerts, theatrical performances, family shows and sporting events. It is also serves as the home court for the Texas men’s and women’s basketball teams.
