AUSTIN, TEXAS – Last night Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus rocked in front of 13,415 excited fans of all ages. Aly and AJ opened the show and made a repeat appearance at about the half way mark to sing, “I Wanna Rock N Roll” with Hannah Montana. Cyrus, the 15-year-old singer/songwriter/actress, performed the first part of the 2 hour concert as her Disney Channel character, Hannah Montana and the latter part as herself wrapping up the show with the song, “Best of Both Worlds.” Selling out concerts around the country, Cyrus shot to fame last year as the star of the Disney Channel television series “Hannah Montana,” in which the teen acts alongside her real-life dad, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. The series focuses on Miley Stewart, who lives a double life as an average teenage girl at school during the day, and a famous pop singer, Hannah Montana, at night. Since 1977, the Frank Erwin Center has served Central Texans with some of the best in live entertainment. The multi-purpose facility located on The University of Texas at Austin campus, hosts a variety of events including concerts, theatrical performances, family shows and sporting events.
