AUSTIN, TEXAS – The Greatest Show on Earth® opens tonight and to kick off the fun we’re hosting over 100 children from CASA of Travis County and Settlement Home, Austin Safeplace and the Austin Sunshine Camp for a cool treat of snow cones while they enjoy watching a couple of pachyderms take in their own Texas-sized snow cone.

Participating kids will receive a genuine Ringling Bros.® clown cup, stickers, clown noses and a voucher good for a $5 or $10 ticket to the circus. The frozen pachyderm treat will be comprised of over 100 lbs. of fruit and vegetables from H-E-B served up in over 4000 lbs. of crushed ice. The event will last about 30 minutes and will take place on the east side of lot 108. Kids will not be able to touch the elephants, but will be able to ask questions of the trainer while the pachyderms enjoy their frozen treat.
