Tyler Perry’s “What’s Done in the Dark” comes to
The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center Stage

AUSTIN, Texas – Stage and film star Tyler Perry brings another great play to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center stage.  The story of Tyler Perry’s “What’s Done in the Dark” is full of suspense, infidelity, sensitive emotions and issues and situations that the audience can always identify with; everything expected from a Tyler Perry dramatic production.  



Everyone has a song and dance to tell but is everyone telling the whole story?  That is the question posed in “What’s Done in the Dark”.  Set in a hospital emergency room, there are ample opportunities for all of the characters in this story to find some trouble. There’s Mr. Brown and his daughter Cora (from Tyler Perry’s “Meet the Browns”), the head nurse Kerry, Dr. Paul Bowman and Brenda and her son Calvin, a handsome basketball player with bright hopes for the future.  



Tyler Perry’s other stage shows that have appeared at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center include “Madea’s Class Reunion,” “Why Did I Get Married?,” and “Meet the Browns”.  “What’s Done in the Dark” stars David Mann, Tamala Mann, Allen Payne, D’Atra Hicks, Chandra Currelley, Cassi Davis, LaVan Davis, Julie Dickens and Ryan Gentles.
