TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA ROCKS THE MAGIC OF THE HOLIDAYS THIS FRIDAY AT THE FRANK ERWIN CENTER!

AUSTIN, Texas –With the holidays fast approaching, one thing is certain: the holiday spirit is in the air! There’s no better way to celebrate than with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, as it captures the magic of the holidays this Friday at the Frank Erwin Center!

The timeless and critically acclaimed Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) was formed by Paul O’Neill, a prolific writer and producer who has had an incredibly varied career in the music industry. In 1996 he approached longtime friends and collaborators Robert Kinkel (composer, co-producer, keyboardist) and Jon Oliva (composer) to form the core writing team of TSO.

After a highly creative and technical writing process, they seek out musicians and singers from the classical, rock, Broadway, and R&B realms to bring their songs to life. This causes a cross pollination of musical ideas, creating hybrid forms of music that would never have otherwise occurred.

Live, the show is breathtaking to behold – entailing a 14-piece orchestra section, a full rock band, a choir, narrators, a stunning light show and extensive pyrotechnics. All of these components combine to form Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s audio, visual and emotional appeal.
This appeal has continued to draw fans since Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s first album, Christmas Eve and Other Stories, released in 1996. They have since released three more albums, including the most recent, The Lost Christmas Eve.
