RASCAL FLATTS ROCK THE ERWIN CENTER THIS THURSDAY!

AUSTIN, Texas – This Thursday, get your gang together and come on out to the Frank Erwin Center to see Grammy-winning trio Rascal Flatts during their “Me and My Gang” tour! Special guests Gary Allan and Taylor Swift will open the show.

Rascal Flatts, comprised of cousins Gary LeVox (lead vocalist) and Jay DeMarcus (bassist), along with Joe Don Rooney (electric guitarist) released their first album in 2000, the self-titled Rascal Flatts. The record landed at No. 3 on the Billboard country albums chart. Since then, the band has enjoyed the success of three more chart-topping albums, winning several noteworthy awards, including a Grammy for Best Country Song (Bless the Broken Road).

Gary Allan, known as the “surfing cowboy,” will be appearing as a special guest on the tour. He has had three No. 1 singles on the Billboard country charts. Taylor Swift, a 16-year-old singer-songwriter, has also recently been added to the bill. Her debut album was released today and her first single, “Tim McGraw” is climbing the Billboard country airplay chart, approaching the Top 10.
