TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA BRINGS A NEW SOUND
TO THE ERWIN CENTER THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!

AUSTIN, Texas – Witness the fusion of orchestra and rock this holiday season when Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) takes the Frank Erwin Center stage on December 22! Tickets go on sale Saturday, October 21 at 10 a.m.

For the past 10 years, TSO creator Paul O’Neill and writers Robert Kinkel and Jon Oliva have been delivering the rock opera experience to arenas across the country. Before he was inspired to create Trans-Siberian Orchestra, O’Neill searched tirelessly for music with greater and greater emotional impact. According to the TSO Web site, in O’Neill’s experimentations, he attempted to “write music that was so melodic it didn’t need lyrics…lyrics that were so poetic that they didn’t need music.” However, once he heard these pieces together, he could not imagine them apart. He fused the pieces and realized that he had found the emotional impact he was searching for; putting songs within the context of a story would provide the third dimension he so desired. This is when O’Neill began writing not just albums, but rock operas. Don’t miss your chance to witness this incredible performance at the Frank Erwin Center on December 22!
