CHUCK NORRIS PRESENTS WORLD COMBAT LEAGUE
TOMORROW AT THE ERWIN CENTER!

AUSTIN, Texas – The World Combat League (WCL) presents its unparalleled new brand of full throttle action to the Frank Erwin Center tomorrow – Friday, September 22 at 8 p.m. as the first ever WCL West Coast Playoffs get underway. The University of Texas’ own drumline will kick off the event!

The World Combat League is the only full-contact, team Combat Martial Arts league in the country. Each WCL team is comprised of six fighters (five men and one woman) who have mastery of one or more of three different disciplines: Kickboxing, Karate, and Tae Kwon Do. Each fighter also holds a spot in one of six predetermined weight classes so that any league team can compete on even ground against any other league team. There is no wrestling or grappling to slow down the action. WCL athletes use lightning fast combinations of boxing, bone crunching impact of kicks, along with devastating power of knee strikes, to knock out their opponent or score points that will accrue to a team victory.
