WITH HONORARY AUSTIN CITIZEN AWARD!

Mayor Presents Award to Norris
on Steps of City Hall this Wednesday at 2 p.m.

AUSTIN, Texas – Mayor Will Wynn will meet legendary celebrity and martial artist Chuck Norris on the steps of City Hall this Wednesday, September 20 at 2 p.m. to present him with an Honorary Austin Citizen Award. The Mayor will also be declaring this Friday, September 22, as Chuck Norris Day – the very day that Chuck Norris is holding his World Combat League West Coast Playoffs at the Frank Erwin Center.

The World Combat League (WCL) brings its unparalleled new brand of full throttle action to the Frank Erwin Center on Friday, September 22 as the first ever WCL West Coast Playoffs get underway. The quest to find America’s toughest city comes down to the development season's first of three final events. The Los Angeles Stars will take on the Texas Dragons and the Oklahoma Destroyers will square off against the Houston Enforcers as the WCL takes the high-flying excitement of Combat Martial Arts to its limit.
