Dave Chappelle’s comedy is nothing short of a pop culture phenomenon. The quotes and impersonations from his Comedy Central show, appropriately titled Chappelle’s Show, are recited and reenacted around water coolers across the nation. His celebrity character impersonations including Rick James, Samuel Jackson, Prince and East Side Boys rapper Lil Jon are some of his most famous sketches. Chappelle’s Show only lasted two seasons and was cut cruelly short, but his comedy rages on in the format that brought him recognition in the first place.
