"MEET THE BROWNS” AT THE THEATRE AT THE FRANK ERWIN CENTER

AUSTIN, TEXAS -  Tyler Perry’s newest production, “Meet the Browns” starring David and Tamela Mann, will be performed at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center April 2 & 3.  Perry’s musicals and plays are part of a powerful urban theatre movement that is based on performances written by, for and about African-Americans.  Perry is a recognized young playwright, director, producer and actor who went from living on the streets to selling out theaters across the country.  “Meet the Browns” is a comedy about a family grieving the loss of a loved one and figuring out funeral arrangements – a process that brings out the best and worst aspects of family love.
