Press Releases October 4, 2004 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA BRINGS THE
HOLIDAY SPIRIT TO THE FRANK ERWIN CENTER THIS DECEMBER
AUSTIN, TEXAS – In 1996, three gifted
musical minds began a collaboration known today as Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
Teaming with musical talent from many genres, the group delivers a one-of-a-kind “rock
opera.” The two and a half hour performance showcases a laser-light
show, gallons of fog, explosive pyro, and fake snow. Trans-Siberian Orchestra
brings its magic to the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday, December 11 at
8PM. Tickets for the concert will go on sale Saturday, October 16 at 10AM. On October 12, the group will release their third Christmas album, The Lost Christmas Eve. This completes a Christmas trilogy, which includes the band’s first two multi-platinum albums, Christmas Eve and Other Stories and The Christmas Attic. Each album narrates a story through powerful performances of both Christmas and rock classics with a set list ranging from “Carol of the Bells” to Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir.” The group released a non-Christmas album, Beethoven’s Last Night, in 2001. Tickets for Trans-Siberian Orchestra at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center Saturday, December 11 at 8PM are $36, $41 and $51 and GO ON SALE Saturday, October 16 at 10AM at all Texas Box Office Outlets (includes H-E-B stores in Austin, Bastrop, Bee Caves, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and San Marcos; Ft.
