Press Releases September 1, 2004 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Security Measures in Place for the Metallica Concert at the Frank Erwin Center This Friday
AUSTIN, TEXAS- Security measures will be in effect for the Metallica concert this Friday at the Frank Erwin Center. Everyone attending the Metallica concert will be checked with a hand held metal detector before they enter the Frank Erwin Center. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early to ensure entrance in a timely fashion. Those with general admission tickets will be allowed entrance through the Red River street level doors at approximately 6PM. The GA line will begin Friday, September 3 at 8AM. Overnight camping is NOT permitted. Those with reserved seats will be allowed entrance at approximately 6:30PM. As a condition of entry, all contents and personal effects shall be presented for inspection prior to entry into the Frank Erwin Center. The following items, but not limited to, are prohibited from entering the building: All Cameras Tickets for Metallica with special guest Godsmack at the Frank Erwin Center, Friday, September 3 at 7:30PM are $55 and $75 General Admission floor tickets and are ON SALE NOW at all Texas Box Office Outlets (includes H-E-B stores in Austin, Bastrop, Bee Caves, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and San Marcos; Ft.
