Tickets for Disney on IceSM Presents Disney/Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. Go On Sale Monday, July 26 at Noon
AUSTIN, TEXAS – From colossal hijinks to intricate acrobatics, Disney on IceSM Presents Disney/Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. tells the unique and humorous tale of monsters James P. Sullivan (Sully), one-eyed Mike Wazowski and toddler Boo. The trio, along with many other monsters, brings all of Monstropolis to life in a show sure to spark gargantuan guffaws.
Howlingly funny antics begin when a child ventures into the Monsters, Inc. factory – bringing her infectious giggle and opening the door to an electrifying adventure. Audiences will experience a thrill of mega-watt laughter powered by this uproarious tale of monsters who work and the children who scare them!
The Erwin Center will be transformed into a monster-sized power plant, complete with scare stations and outsized personalities like boss man Mr. Waternoose and his file clerk Roz. Nearly 50 closet doors of every style and color whirl and twirl on and above the ice as “scarers” like Sully prepare for the daily scream-collecting rounds.
It doesn’t take long before the Child Detection Agency (CDA) vehicle zooms out to answer a Child Contamination Scare, “2319,” and explodes to reveal two dozen CDA operatives poised to rid the scene of the smallest trace of child contamination. Don’t miss this oversized and beyond imagination production!
