In the entire history of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®,
no man, woman, or child has ever witnessed anything like Bailey's Comet," says
producer Kenneth Feld. "Bailey's Comet is the ultimate circus phenomenon-never
seen before and never to be seen again!"
A modest, mild-mannered gentleman, Brian Miser holds the key to understanding
the mysterious ways of the Comet. After years of rigorous physical training
and mental meditation, Miser has single-handedly harnessed the human combustibility
gene.
Ejected from the roaring mouth of the delivery system with the propulsive
intensity of ten G-forces, Bailey's Comet travels as far as one hundred
and ten feet at speeds of up to sixty-five miles per hour, guided solely
by light emitted from flames reaching temperatures of several hundred
degrees Fahrenheit! Miser is alight for a full twenty-five seconds, and
must hold his breath for the entire duration of the Comet's flight or
risk being engulfed in the Comet's effulgent flames.
Necks will be craned, jaws will be dropped, goose bumps will be raised,
and eyeballs will be scorched when Bailey's Comet comes to town!
