FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

THE MOST THRILLING CIRCUS COMES TO AUSTIN IN JUST TWO WEEKS!

A Cultural Melting Pot, The 133rd Edition of Ringling Bros. and Barnum &Bailey® Is a Truly International Experience!

AUSTIN, TX - There are few things more important in the history of human affairs than a circus coming to town! And this year's 133rd Edition of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus at the Frank Erwin Center showcases internationalism as never before.

" The Greatest Show On Earth® is a microcosm of humanity in which dozens of different cultures live together and work together for a common goal: the entertainment and pleasure of the audience," says Producer Kenneth Feld. "Without being academic about it, they're seeing everything from Russian aerial acts to ceremonial Chinese lions and pole acts. The three rings of the circus are a place where every person and every culture is truly welcomed and embraced."

Represented in this year's show: Brazilian dancers and stilt walkers, Paraguayan motorcycle daredevils, Chinese acrobats, Russian and South African aerialists, Bulgarian bungee sphere spinners, German, French, and British animal trainers, Polish and Bulgarian animal groomers, four full-time translators, an African-American Ringmaster, an African-American cowboy. . . and one Bello! Ringling Bros.' 133rd Edition is so authentically multicultural three of the canines in the Sanger Dog Act have their own passports!
