HOUSTONIAN HILARY DUFF TO HIT THE ERWIN CENTER
Tickets Go On Sale Saturday, June 12 at 10AM
AUSTIN, TEXAS - America’s favorite girl next door, Hilary Duff,
will soon be knocking on the Frank Erwin Center’s door with her
Most Wanted Summer Tour 2004. From playing the title role in the Disney
Channel’s hit television sitcom Lizzie McGuire to starring in a
string of hit movies including “Agent Cody Banks” and “Cheaper
by the Dozen, ” this native Texan has done it all. Most recently,
Duff has become a triple threat with the release of her debut album Metamorphosis.
Duff made her first singing appearance in 2002 on the Lizzie McGuire Original Television Soundtrack with her single “I Can’t Wait”. Later that year she released a holiday-themed album, Santa Claus Lane. Her newly released Metamorphosis is described as a “chameleon-like variety of changing moods.”
In the past few years, Duff has reached unbelievable heights. She has sold over 3 million albums, spent six weeks in the Billboard Top 10, and received three platinum album awards. Duff has also starred in a No. 1 television series, four hit movies and won a “Favorite TV Show” award at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
Duff’s older sister, Haylie, will be touring with the pop princess. Haylie is an aspiring singer/ actress who has appeared on television shows such as Third Watch, American Dreams and Boston Public.
Random Wristband Policy in Effect on First Day of Ticket Sales: Numbered wristbands to be distributed for a place in line on the first day of sales beginning Wednesday, June 9 at 9AM through Friday, June 11 until 6PM at the Frank Erwin Center and at all H-E-B stores in Austin and surrounding areas where Texas Box Office outlets are located. The beginning of the line will be randomly determined on Saturday, June 12 before tickets go on sale. Wristbands guarantee a place in line, but do not guarantee tickets.
