AUSTIN, TEXAS – Travel “Out of this World” with Sesame Street Live Thursday, February 12 through Sunday, February15 at the Frank Erwin Center. Tickets GO ON SALE Monday, December 15 at NOON. “Out of this World” is the latest production from VEE Entertainment Corporation, a world-renowned producer of family entertainment.
What happens when Martians land on Sesame Street? An average "sunny day" becomes extraordinary when Terry, Sesame Street's fix-it girl, and her Muppet friends teach their intergalactic visitors all about Earth. Grover shares some of his recent global adventures, and children learn that Sesame Street is an international favorite. The live show includes popular segments such as "Elmo's World" and "Journey to Ernie," as well as a letter and number of the day. The cast of Bert, Big Bird, Ernie, Elmo, Oscar, Grover, Cookie Monster, Zoe, Rosita, Count Von Count, Terry, Baby Bear, Telly, Prairie Dawn, Grungetta, Honker, and the Yup-Yups teach children that similarities cross cultures through this high-energy, high-quality production.
Sesame Street Live incorporates many of the same valuable life lessons that have made its sister television show so successful and well known. The show teaches children about patience, cooperation and teamwork. Adults will appreciate the stage show and can revisit memories from childhood with infamous Sesame Street music. "Out of This World" features a wide variety of songs, including: "Sunny Days," "The Hokey-Pokey," "Disco Duck" and "We Are Family."
