CHAVEZ TO DEFEND WORLD TITLE AGAINST JUUKO
MILLER LITE TEXAS TITLE BELT SERIES RETURNS FRIDAY,
NOVEMBER 21, FRANK ERWIN CENTER
AUSTIN, TEXAS---Austin’s Jesus Chavez begins the tough journey of defending his WBC World Super Featherweight title Friday, November 21 at the Frank Erwin Center. Chavez was crowned World Champion August 1. Chavez, 40-2, will face highly regarded world contender, Justin Juuko, 39-7-1, of Uganda, in the scheduled 12 round Main Event. The remainder of the card, which begins at 7 p.m., is to be announced. The November 21st event is one of nineteen Miller Lite Texas Title Belt, Professional Boxing Series, events throughout
For the 33 year old Chavez, returning to Austin as Champion and fighting in front of the hometown fans is something he has dreamed about. “This is exactly where I’ve wanted to be since I turned pro,” stated Chavez. “Being at home here in Austin and walking into the ring as World Champion is a dream come true.” The Chavez fight will be Juuko’s third shot at a World Title.
The Chavez vs Juuko, world title fight will headline a six bout, Miller Lite Texas Title Belt, Professional Boxing Series event.
