(Austin, TX) Come meet and photograph the World's Largest Tiger Act! The Ben Hur Shrine Circus is proud to bring the World’s Largest Tiger Act to Austin. The act consists of 12, 400-lb tigers and one, 500-lb lion. The cats are trained by husband and wife team, Judit and Jurgen. They came from East Germany two years ago specifically to take over this act. George Hamid, producer of the Ben Hur Shrine Circus, will also be available for interviews. The cats are owned by John Cuneo. This is the biggest wild animal act in the world, in terms of total weight in cats, with all 13 animals having a combined weight of over 5,300 lbs!
WHO: The Ben Hur Shrine Circus presents the World’s Largest Tiger Act. The act consists of 12, 400-lb tigers and one, 500-lb lion.
WHAT: A photo opportunity of the World’s Largest Tiger Act. The animals’ trainers, Judit and Jurgen, will be available for interviews. George Hamid, the producer of the Ben Hur Shrine Circus, will also be on hand for interviews. Hamid was the first presenter of two white tigers into a circus in the late 70s.
