Booking Guest Services
All guests will find easy entrance to the
building through the Red River doors and the arena
terrace level doors.
An elevator located near the Frank Erwin Center Red River street level entrance provides easy access to wheelchair locations.
Guest Services is located on the arena concourse just outside section 27. This center offers lost and found, Applause and general building information as well as the home of the Nextel Emergency Message Center.
For your convenience, we have four ATM machines at the following locations: * Red River Lobby - next to Arena Floor doorway * Councourse Level (2nd Level) - next to Section 25-26; south side of building * Mezzanine Level (3rd Level) - between Section 78-80 and Section 80-82; east side of building
Requests made for interpreter services received at least two weeks in advance of scheduled event dates, will be pursued as aggressively as possible or on a case by case basis. The content of some events may not be translatable to sign language. To order tickets, call Thom Ramirez at 512.471.2656. To request an interpreter, call Charly Wallace at 512.471.3073. For the hearing impaired, a courtesy TDD is available in the Red River reception office at the Frank Erwin Center.
Should an emergency situation occur, guests on the concourse level should depart through the doors marked exit. Our wide concourses allow for easy departure from anywhere in the building.
The Frank Erwin Center's First Aid Station is located outside section 26 on the arena concourse level. This station is staffed and operated by Frank Erwin Center personnel and Emergency Medical Technicians from the City of Austin.
Parking spaces for persons with disabilities are located on three sides of the Frank Erwin Center. For any event in which Lot 108 is closed to the public, parking is available (subject to space availability) for anyone displaying handicap plates or sticker. Lot 108 is just south of the Frank Erwin Center. In addition, disabled parking spaces are available in nearby state lots. Guests with mobility impairments may park in front of the Frank Erwin Center on Red River Street or in Lot 108, located south of the Frank Erwin Center, with valid handicap plates or stickers.
The Frank Erwin Center provides a courtesy TDD for guests making outgoing calls during all events. The TDD is located in our Red River reception office. From the arena level (outside section 20) or mezzanine level (outside section 60), take the passenger elevator to level 2 and go to the Red River reception office. The office is staffed during all events and an office assistant will assist you with your call.
Locations accessible by wheelchairs are reserved and are in row 32 of selected sections on the arena level, in row 3 of selected sections on the mezzanine level and on the arena floor for all shows at which public floor seating is available. Misc. Information for Mobility Impaired Guests Wheelchair guests have access to specially mounted public telephones near the Red River entrances and on the arena level. Drinking fountains are installed for wheelchair guests and are accessible in all areas of the concourse. Restrooms are equipped with lower lavatories. Stalls have grab rails, extra wide doors and raised bowls. The Frank Erwin Center has modified concession condiment tables for easy access to wheelchair guests. The concession stands have braille menus available for the visually impaired.
