Playhouse Disney Live! Dances into the Frank Erwin Center

How would you like to explore the world with the Little Einsteins? Dance in Sheetrock Hills with Handy Manny and his trusty tools? What about sing along with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy at the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? Well, we’ve got great news for you! You can do all of those things when Playhouse Disney Live! comes to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on December 19!

After a widely successful first year on tour, Playhouse Disney Live! is once again making its rounds to bring singing, dancing and most importantly, FUN to a stage near you. The live tour features everyone’s favorite characters from the most popular Playhouse Disney shows: “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” “Little Einsteins,” “My Friends Tigger & Pooh” and “Handy Manny.” All of these characters come to life for an energetic show that you won’t want to miss.

There’s a musical party at the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and everyone is invited! The story unfolds as the Playhouse Disney Postess delivers party invitations to all of Mickey’s Playhouse Disney pals. The audience follows along as the pals venture off to find music in the Hundred Acre Woods, Sheetrock Hills and all over the world. The audience gets to join the Little Einsteins and Rocket on a magical field trip to China, India, Russia, Egypt, Italy, Japan, Spain and Africa to discover different music cultures. Next, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and their friend Darby call upon the kids in the audience to help solve the mystery of their missing music. Finally, everyone gets to dance along in Sheetrock Hills with Handy Manny and his friendly tools as they use their special talents to make an upbeat song to share at Mickey’s party. The citizens of Sheetrock Hills add to the rhythm using bricks, brooms and buckets. The audience members will have the chance to get in on all of the action and be just as much a part of the show as the characters on stage!

Producer Alana Feld says, “Throughout Playhouse Disney Live! we have placed interactive moments that children and parents alike will enjoy. Kids will pat, pat, pat with the Little Einsteins and even be called on stage to dance to the ‘Hot Dog!’ song, all while learning that everyone in the world can make music and it brings the world together.”
