Ring in the New Year at the Frank Erwin Center!

Here’s a New Year’s resolution that you should be sure to keep…get out to the Frank Erwin Center for some fabulous upcoming shows!!!
There will be plenty of good ol’ fashioned boot scootin’ at the Frank Erwin Center when the incomparable George Strait hits the stage. The king of country will be headed to our very own Frank Erwin Center on January 10 to play before a sold out crowd, live in the round. Can I get a yee haw?!
Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus will round out our January line up as the “Best of Both Worlds” Tour rolls into the Frank Erwin Center on January 24. Cyrus, the 15-year-old singer/songwriter/actress, will perform part of the concert as her Disney Channel character, Hannah Montana, and the rest as herself.
It’s on to February fun as the WWE TV cameras will be returning to the Frank Erwin Center on February 4 for “Monday Night Raw.” WWE has been providing the world with fantastic entertainment for years, so come see wrestling superstars like Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Umaga and more.
In a single season, the world famous Harlem Globetrotters play in over 200 games around North America and lucky for us, they are bringing their “Magic As Ever” World Tour our way on February 7. Bring out the entire family and create a memory that will last a lifetime.
Ready for a little theatre action? We’ve got just the answer in the new production, Where’s Papa Ray’s Money? playing at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on February 12. Written by Thomas Miles, a.k.a.“Nephew Tommy,” this play is about a papa that has passed away and hidden a massive inheritance.
Sesame Street Live will be bringing Elmo and friends back to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center February 14 -17 and they’ll be bringing along a new friend, Abby Cadabby! Making her Sesame Street Live debut, Abby and her new Muppet friends will be putting on a musical show-and-tell that’s full of surprises.
Embark on a “New Journey” with Celtic Woman at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on February 19. Hear the award-winning tunes and magical Celtic voices that have earned this five-some platinum status in the US and South Africa, and gold status as far away as Australia and Japan.
The Frank Erwin Center will come alive with stirring music and detailed costumes on February 21 as The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the Band of the Coldstream Guards march into Austin. Fans won’t want to miss The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, Scotland’s senior regiment and only regular cavalry and the Band of the Coldstream Guards, one of the oldest regiments in the world.
Rounding out February will be singing heartthrob, Michael Bublé who hits the stage at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center February 27. This Canadian born performer with “everything” has taken the US by storm and made a home on the US Billboard charts.
The Frank Erwin Center will be showcasing some of the best high school basketball talent in the state when the University Interscholastic League holds its Girls and Boys Basketball State Championships at the Frank Erwin Center the first two weekends in March.
Christian music’s top-selling artist Casting Crowns with special guest Leeland and introducing John Waller, will be heading to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on April 4 with the highest-ranking Christian music concert event of the 2007 fall tour season, “The Altar and The Door” Tour.
Fresh off the dancing heels of its 10th anniversary tour, Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance will be tapping into Austin on April 17 and as more than 100 million people worldwide can attest…this show should not be missed!
