Introducing Abby Cadabby! The newest Muppet on Sesame Street joins Elmo, Zoe, Rosita and all of her furry and feathered friends in asking, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Be here for the answers when Sesame Street Live “When Elmo Grows Up” hits The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center February 14 -17.

The sounds of Ireland will be gracing the stage as the ever popular Celtic Woman, a musical ensemble comprised of five Irish female artists, arrives at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center February 19. Their CDs and DVDs have gone platinum in the US and South Africa, and gold as far away as Australia and Japan.

Bring out the entire family and enjoy the music of Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales when The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the Band of the Coldstream Guards march into the Frank Erwin Center February 21. In live performance, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the Band of the Coldstream Guards delight the eyes and ears of young and old alike.

That special person in your life will most definitely enjoy one of the hottest concerts of the year, as Michael Bublé brings his irrepressible spirit, engaging humor and confident charisma to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center February 27. Bublé has taken the US by storm and he’ll be wrapping up our February lineup.

Each year, over 150,000 spectators travel to Austin to watch the best high school basketball teams compete at the Frank Erwin Center. You, too, can be here with your loved one when The University Interscholastic League Girls and Boys Basketball State Championships take place the first two weekends in March.

Grammy and Dove award winning Christian band, Casting Crowns, is headed to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on Friday, April 4 to promote their latest album, The Altar and the Door. Your loved one will surely enjoy the opportunity to see Christian music’s top-selling artist along with special guest Leeland and introducing John Waller.

Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance will be making its way to Austin on April 17. The international Irish dancing extravaganza has performed sold out shows at theaters, arenas and stadiums in over 67 countries and now they are headed back to Austin!

After a hugely successful 2007 tour, fans have spoken and they want more, so Rush has officially announced dates for their extended 2008 “Snakes & Arrows World Tour.” The hard rocking band will be playing at the Frank Erwin Center April 23.

Reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year, Kenny Chesney will be taking the stage at the Frank Erwin Center on May 1 and this is one you will NOT want to miss! It may be a few months away but get your tickets early for this hot show!
