Larry the Cable Guy

In Love With ProRodeo

Larry the Cable Guy

You might know that Dan Whitney, aka Larry the Cable Guy, is a comedian, an actor and even an author, but what you might not know is that he is also involved with ProRodeo.

Larry is a huge fan of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association). Even though he is no cowboy, Larry was in the Little Britches Rodeo and rode sheep as a kid. His sister even participated on a professional level. Larry has always loved the rodeo, so much so that he sponsors his own ProRodeo team, the Git-R-Done ProRodeo Team.

Larry always wanted to be involved in ProRodeo in some way and sponsoring cowboys and cowgirls is a way for him to be a part of it. In an interview last year with ESPN.com, Larry said that it’s really hard for some folks to make it from rodeo to rodeo so every little bit helps and he is thankful that he’s able to help them out.

So the next time you find yourself at a professional rodeo, take a look at who is sitting in that chair beside you cheering on the cowboys and cowgirls of the Git-R-Done ProRodeo Team, because it just might be Larry the Cable Guy.
