Wranglers Close-Out Home Regular Season Against Force

The Arena Football League’s Austin Wranglers will finish-up the 2007 home regular season on Saturday, June 9 with a 7:30 p.m. contest against the Georgia Force at the Frank Erwin Center. The Force finished the first half of the regular season with a 7-1 record and a 3-0 mark in the National Conference Southern Division.
The Georgia-Austin match-up has turned into an intense divisional rivalry with the bulk of the games over the last four seasons going down to the wire before a victor has been decided. The two teams met back in Week 2 of the 2007 season with Georgia hanging on for a 60-51 victory. The game was much closer than the final score indicates as Austin pulled within two points in the final 46 seconds, but was unable to convert on the second of two onside kicks and Georgia held-on for the victory.
The June 9 game should be a great game with a playoff spot for the Austin Wranglers likely on the line.
