A New Year and a New Line-up at the Erwin Center!

It’s hard to believe a new year is already upon us! 2006 was quite an eventful year. From martial arts to the circus, country to comedy, the Erwin Center offered a whirlwind of world class acts. And there’s a lot more to come in 2007!
Disney’s The Cheetah Girls will keep the New Year’s party going on January 5 with their new tour, “The Party’s Just Begun.” Full throttle action will heat up Austin on January 20, as Chuck Norris Presents World Combat League returns to the Erwin Center for the 2007 Inaugural Season Championship!
January ends on a high note, as Denver-based band The Fray performs at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on the 29th. The Fray’s popularity has soared after the 2005 release of their debut album How to Save a Life – which has since gone Platinum – and through features on “Scrubs” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
February is a month for family fun! The Harlem Globetrotters heat up the basketball court on February 8, while Bill Gaither and the Homecoming Friends warm our hearts and souls with southern gospel and contemporary Christian music on February 9. Be sure to bring your children to the Erwin Center February 15-18 to explore childhood’s favorite street – Sesame Street!
Giddy-up to the Erwin Center March 23 for an equestrian spectacle by the “World Famous” Lipizzaner Stallions! The fun doesn’t stop there, as blue collar funny man Larry the Cable Guy brings his “redneck-style” humor to the Erwin Center on March 31.
With such an exciting line-up for the New Year, it’s certain there will never be a dull moment at the Frank Erwin Center!
