The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the Band of the Coldstream Guards Bring Majestic, Triumphant Sounds to the Frank Erwin Center
The Frank Erwin Center will come alive with stirring music and detailed costumes on February 21 as The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the Band of the Coldstream Guards march into Austin. There are few sights so majestic, few sounds as triumphant as those of a world-class regimental band with full ceremonial colors -- flags flying, pipes and drums resounding.
The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are Scotland's senior regiment and her only regular cavalry. Renowned for their outstanding Pipes and Drums, the "SCOTS DG" produced a chart-topping hit record with "Amazing Grace."
The Band of the Coldstream Guards, 49 musicians strong, has been in existence for over 300 years, making it among the oldest military bands in the world. Patrons who have attended previous performances here by Scotland's Black Watch will attest to the incomparable thrills awaiting audiences for "The Guards."

VIP Pre-Show packages for The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the Band of the Coldstream Guards are $77 & $82 and include a concert ticket, dinner ticket, parking in The University of Texas Trinity parking garage (subject to availability) and entrance through the Red River street level doors. A cash bar will be available for your convenience. The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the Band of the Coldstream Guards will not make an appearance at the dinner.
