Wrapping Up 2007 With Some Fun!

The end of this year is fast approaching, and so is your chance to see a fun-filled masterpiece on stage at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on December 27! Playhouse Disney Live! brings all of your favorite Playhouse Disney characters together in one place for some singing, dancing and adventure. So gather up the family and experience an exciting way to finish up 2007 with a bang!

Fans can expect to see characters from the hit Playhouse Disney shows, “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” “Little Einsteins,” “Handy Manny,” and its newest show, “My Friends Tigger and Pooh.” Playhouse Disney Live! represents the first time that characters from this enormously popular block of Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney programs will be together on the same stage, creating interactive moments for children and their families. The storyline follows this colorful cast as they set off in their own unique ways to create and contribute songs and music for an unforgettable musical party at Mickey’s Clubhouse.

The producers of Playhouse Disney Live! are extremely confident that they are delivering a show that you won’t want to miss. ‘’We are excited to bring these popular Disney Channel shows together in a live production that will tour an unprecedented 70 cities in one year,’’ said Producer Alana Feld. “We combine all of the familiar faces that families already know and love in an original storyline that is jam-packed with upbeat music and singing and dancing from our very own ‘Playhouse Boogie’ dance to the well-known favorite ‘Hot Dog!’ song from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.”

Though this is the first year that the characters from these four popular Playhouse Disney shows come together for a live performance, the audience should expect nothing less than a magically fun time. A review for a previous Playhouse Disney show on stage included a mother that was just as impressed with the performance as her child was by stating, “The show was interactive and fun, and got the kids up and dancing, singing and cheering. The characters were great, and the voices were recorded by the same actors who play the roles on the shows…I’m so glad we were able to see Playhouse Disney Live on Stage! It was definitely one of the high points of my son’s vacation and mine too.”
