We’re kicking off the December fun with the BLUE MAN GROUP. The beat goes on for BLUE MAN GROUP as they announce an unprecedented third US leg to their mega-successful concert tour, which has been rocking arenas all over North and South America since last fall. The tour, called How To Be A Megastar Tour 2.1, will visit the Frank Erwin Center on December 1.
In the decade since Trans-Siberian Orchestra debuted, the group has sold more than five million albums and performed before more than two million fans in sold-out venues across the country. The group includes an orchestral string section, a full rock band, multiple vocalists, a narrator, extensive pyrotechnics, a stunning laser and light show, and even a snowfall! Take advantage of this vacation time to get the kids out for an extra special treat for Playhouse Disney Live! at the The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center! This is the first US live production featuring everyone’s favorite characters from four shows in the popular Playhouse Disney program block for preschoolers and it is set to hit the stage on December 27 for two very special shows.
Hot off the heels of adding a few more Country Music Association Awards to his trophy case back in November, George Strait will be headed to our very own Frank Erwin Center on January 10. Twenty-five years and a slew of multi-platinum albums later, Strait just keeps getting better. These tickets will go fast so act now!
Can I interest anyone in a little WWE on February 4? Yes, World Wrestling Entertainment is making its way to the Frank Erwin Center in February and will feature WWE Champion Randy Orton, the “Samoan Bulldozer” Umaga, WWE superstar Triple H, Mr. Kennedy and more.
The Harlem Globetrotter “Magic As Ever” World Tour is headed our way on February 7. The tour will carry on the Globetrotters’ tradition of visiting local schools and hospitals, wowing spectators with amazing basketball skills and wizardry, providing fun for the entire family and they will wrap up the evening with an autograph session allowing fans the chance to get up close and personal with their favorite Globetrotter.
When Elmo and his Sesame Street Live friends think about growing up, it’s a musical show-and-tell and they’ll be bringing their act to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center February 14 -17! Bert dreams of becoming a forest ranger, Telly longs to be a cowboy and their newest friend, Abby Cadabby, wants to be a fairy godmother just like her mommy. “When Elmo Grows Up” includes lessons on perseverance, teamwork and the power of imagination.
Celtic Woman will be arriving at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on February 19. This show is a musical ensemble that features songs that range from traditional Celtic tunes to modern songs. Celtic Woman has been referred to as “Riverdance for the voice” and has been popular around the world.
Join us on February 27 to welcome Canadian and big band singer, Michael Bublé. Critically acclaimed Grammy-nominated, multiple Juno Award-winning Bublé is touring to support his latest album, Call Me Irresponsible, and we’re thrilled he’s making the stop in Austin.
