Cool, Fall Shows Scheduled for The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center

Ready for school to start and looking for some fun, fall activities? We’ve got an exciting line-up headed your way and we’re happy to say there is something for everyone!

Our next act has had so much success with their recent tour run that they have added additional tour dates and we happen to be one of the venues on the list as newsboys with special guests Kutless and newworldson will take the stage at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday, October 20. With five gold albums, more than 20 No.1 hits, and numerous Dove Awards as well as Grammy nominations, newsboys has achieved phenomenal success in the Christian music scene and lucky for us, they’re headed our way this fall.

Houston’s own Blue October will arrive at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday, November 17 for a must-see concert that also features the rock bands Yellowcard and Shiny Toy Guns with special guest Lovedrug. The Texas quintet will be promoting their latest effort, Foiled for the Last Time, a 2-disc set consisting of the original platinum certified album, Foiled, along with 14 new songs recorded earlier this year. Alternative rock favorites, Yellowcard and Shiny Toy Guns will round out the bill with Lovedrug as the opener making this a true fall music event that shouldn’t be missed.

And we haven’t forgotten the little ones in your lives. For all the preschoolers out there and even the non-preschool Disney lovers, how about enjoying a little Disney Playhouse Live! during the holidays. All your favorite Disney pals are headed to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on Thursday, December 27 for live entertainment for the wee ones. Playhouse Disney Live! represents the first time that characters from the Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney programs will be together on the same stage. Come on out and watch as your kiddos gaze in amazement as their favorites come to life right before their very eyes.
