Keith Urban

Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing

Keith Urban

A decade after his American debut in 1997, Grammy winner Keith Urban has proved one of the most consistent and exciting singers on the country music scene. When he comes to the Frank Erwin Center on July 3 to promote his latest album Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing you will witness firsthand the talents that have brought him so far.

Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing is already being praised as the most ambitious, accomplished, and intimate album in Keith Urban’s impressive career. “It’s an accurate reflection of where I am now.

I think it’s the sound of being happy with my life and passionate about the music I’m making,” Urban explains. “There’s much more of a balance to my life, and music, than there has been in the past. If this album is reflective of anything, it’s reflective of the peace that I feel now and the desire I have to keep reaching to try different things.”

With Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing – Urban’s seventh album – it appears he has accomplished his task. This album features not only string and choir arrangements, but also guest artists such as Ronnie Dunn of the renowned country group Brooks & Dunn. The result of these diverse collaborations is a record that has an “ebb and flow, that you can listen to from top to bottom and that takes you on a journey.”
