Austin’s own Salvage Vanguard Theater kicks off their national tour with a performance of the first chapter of their Intergalactic Nemesis Trilogy. Come enjoy what the Austinist calls “an incredibly engaging, entertaining night at the theatre” Friday, September 8, 2006!

This Tony award-winning smash hit set in civil-rights era Baltimore takes you back to when the TV shows were black and white, the clothes were bold and bright, and the hair was three feet high! The New York Times raves “if life were everything it should be, it would be more like HAIRSPRAY. It’s irresistible!” 2003’s Best Musical arrives at Bass Concert Hall for five days beginning Tuesday, September 12, 2006.
