American Idols Live Tour 2006
American Idols Live Tour 2006 Brings Good Vibrations

The wait is almost over for the energy-filled American Idols Live Tour 2006! The show aims to satisfy any fan’s appetite for all things “American Idol.” Experience the sounds of winner Taylor Hicks and all of your favorite contestants from Season Five on September 10 at the Frank Erwin Center.
“We’ve got so many different genres of music for the tour,” “American Idol” contestant Kellie Pickler told MTV in an interview. “I think everyone will find a song they’ll like. And we’ve got a lot of surprises.”
At previous stops on the tour, musical renditions of this year’s Top 10 “American Idols” have featured a wide range of songs. Don’t miss your chance to hear Taylor Hicks’ first single “Do I Make You Proud,” that made its debut on this season’s finale. Hicks will showcase not only his voice, but his other musical talents on the tour by playing harmonica and guitar during his set. Of course it wouldn’t be an “American Idols” tour if it didn’t feature America’s sweetheart, runner-up Katharine McPhee. The musical ensemble also includes fifth runner-up, R&B singer Paris Bennett. She plans to bring the crowd to its feet as she did on this season’s show with her rendition of Gladys Knight’s “Midnight Train to Georgia.”
According to MTV, the night features a number of duets. Rocker Chris Daughtry and Elliott Yamin cover Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive.” A country rendition is also expected by duo Kellie Pickler and Bucky Covington. Musical appearances will also be made by Ace Young, Lisa Tucker and Mandisa. This show is jam-packed with family entertainment for all ages. The extraordinary performance will be at the Erwin Center on Sunday, September 10 at 7p.m.
