Summer Fun

Change is in the air this month as graduation time approaches and a much anticipated summer stretches out before us. Never fear if you don’t already have summer plans down pat because the Frank Erwin Center has a line up that will keep the whole family excited!

To start out with a bang we have Kid Rock appearing May 4 at 8PM with the Twisted Brown Trucker Band. This Detroit native is bringing his newest (and only live) album Live Trucker to Austin and we just know the show will Rock!

For a change of pace, Disney on Ice will skate into the Erwin Center May 10-14 with their newest production Disney presents Pixar’s The Incredibles in a Magic Kingdom Adventure. This original show was choreographed by renowned choreographer Cindy Stuart and it sounds like she has almost as much fun working on the show as we will have watching it!

Get ready to cheer and yell as the Renegades Extreme Fighters KO their way into the Erwin Center on June 9! We last saw these rough and tumblers a few months ago and the show was so awesome that they decided to come back with another round of cage fighting just to blow our minds!!

Just when you thought the summer might be a slow one this year the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus is set to roll into Austin June 28 to July 2, Saving The Day From The Everyday^SM! The show is bound to amaze everyone from all age groups, especially with the Animal Open House^SM and the All-Access Pre-Show events before the show! So come one, come all and see The Greatest Show on Earth^SM!

The competition is starting to get down and dirty as the season heads for a close, the Austin Wranglers can see the playoffs but they aren’t there yet! So come out, scream and cheer on your favorite arena football team when they take on the Grand Rapids Rampage on May 7!
