Entertainment for Everyone at the Frank Erwin Center!

The Frank Erwin Center kicked off its 30th Anniversary celebration last month, and we look forward to a year of fun and festivities! We continue to honor our legacy of providing world class entertainment by offering Austin an exciting lineup of upcoming shows. Let’s take a look at what’s in store for the end of 2006 and beginning of 2007…
December starts off with a bang (and a
“yee-haw!”) as the Dixie Chicks take the Frank Erwin Center stage on December 4! These Grammy-winning country stars are bringing their “Accidents and Accusations” tour to Austin with brand new music from their latest – and already Platinum – album, Taking the Long Way.
The timeless and critically acclaimed Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) rings in the holiday season at the Erwin Center on December 22. Their holiday themed rock operas produce a breathtaking and awe-inspiring show – a perfect way to capture the magic of the holiday season!
The Cheetah Girls will keep the New Year’s party going on January 5 with their new tour, “The Party’s Just Begun.”
On January 20 Chuck Norris’ World Combat League will return to the Erwin Center to crown their National Championship Team. This is a must see event for martial arts and boxing fans alike. The first month of 2007 will wrap with The Fray on January 29 with music from their hugely popular album, How to Save a Life.
February is a month for family fun, as we welcome the Harlem Globetrotters on February 8, Bill Gaither on February 9, and Sesame Street Live “Elmo Makes Music” on February 15-18.
To get the Spring Season off to a cheerful start, blue collar funny man Larry the Cable Guy will return to the Erwin Center on March 31. With such a diverse lineup, there’s entertainment for everyone at the Frank Erwin Center!
