November was a special month for the Frank Erwin Center. It marked the launch of a year-long celebration in recognition of our 30-year anniversary. In last month’s edition of Applause, we unveiled our new logo. This month, we are featuring festivities for our patrons to commemorate the Frank Erwin Center’s 30 years of service to Austin. From November 2006 to November 2007, the Erwin Center is offering guests the chance to win $30 Texas Box Office gift certificates good for any event available on the Texas Box Office Ticketing System! All you have to do is attend a professional entertainment event at the Erwin Center and sign up at Guest Services for your chance to win. You may be able to go to your next concert for free!

No matter how many special promotions and giveaways we do, however, you cannot appreciate the presence of the Erwin Center without being aware of its past. In three decades the arena has built a fan base; those folks that come back year after year, show after show and trust us to give them the best experience they can ask for.
