Austin Wranglers Making a Push in April

Cheer on the Austin Wranglers as they make a push for the playoffs this month! With only 6 games left in the season, every game will become more critical as they battle for playoff position. This month the Wranglers face three of their four opponents at home at the Frank Erwin Center and they want ALL their fans here making A LOT of noise.

First up will be the Georgia Force, a team the Wranglers faced earlier in the season. In that game, the Wranglers won 53-52 after QB John Fitzgerald faked a handoff to Sir Mawn Wilson and took the ball in himself for the two-yard touchdown run. The Tampa Bay Storm visit Austin a week later. The Wranglers first loss of the season was to the Storm (48-58) and the Wranglers will be fired up to even the score. To wrap up the month, the Wranglers take on the Columbus Destroyers. This will be the only meeting between the two teams with the winner getting the bragging rights for the 2006 season.
