Hilarious and Generous
 Everyone
knows him for his comic genius on The George Lopez
Show,
but Lopez fans also love him for his work as a stand-up
comedian. If you miss out when Lopez arrives in Austin
at the Frank Erwin Center on Friday, April 28 for his “Who
Told You That?” tour, people will know “Why
You Cryin!”
As the co-creator, writer, producer and star of The
George Lopez Show, Lopez has a lot to talk about these days.
From sponsoring Olympic skater Maria Garcia to receiving
his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Lopez is
all over the board.
This Los Angeles native does more than crack audiences
up once a week – Lopez also makes sure to take
care of his community. His own charity, The George & Ann
Lopez-Richie Alarcon CARE Foundation, provides art resources
for education. In recognition of his fundraising for
the victims of the earthquake in El Salvador and Guatemala,
he was named an Honorary Mayor of Los Angeles.
