Disney On Ice

May 10-14

Get In On Some INCREDIBLE Action

Didn’t get to make it to the Magic Kingdom® this year? Well buckle up, because it’s coming to YOU with the cast of The Incredibles as your travel companions. Don’t miss Bob, Helen, Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack as they skate you through the Magic Kingdom® at the Frank Erwin Center May 10-14!

Last time we saw our favorite superheroes they had just come out of hiding to save the world from the robot copy of the crazy Syndrome, the not-so-super bad guy. Now they are taking a normal family vacation to Disney’s Magic Kingdom with some not-so-normal outcomes. As the family struggles to mask their secret identities, hilarious things keep popping up along the way that makes their powers get away from them!

Follow the Parr family as they tour through an Electric Light Parade down Main Street, U.S.A., brave the spooky thrills of The Haunted Mansion, and ride Adventureland’s® wild & wonderful Jungle Cruise!! And don’t think that they could go through Disney’s utopia without running into the King and Queen of Disney- Mickey and Minnie Mouse!

What would be better than watching the Incredibles go through the Magic Kingdom? HELPING them through it!! Each child will receive a complimentary Incredi-band™, a special light-up cuff, to help the Parrs save the day!

The night’s cast will consist of world-class skaters recruited from all over the world to thrill adults and kids alike with their amazing choreography and diversity. The cast comes from 10 different countries (United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Russia, Finland, Hungary, Australia, Ukraine and Mexico) and has 19 men and women each in the production with an average age of 23.5. Not to be missed, we have a Texas girl in the line-up as a principle skater: Shae Green is from North Richland Hills, Texas and is sure to WOW the stadium with her home-grown talent.

The choreography is produced by renowned choreographer, Cindy Stuart. Stuart has worked on at least one large scale production every year since 1995 and doesn’t seem in any hurry to slow it down. She has choreographed for numerous shows and even several well known skaters such as Nancy Kerrigan, Lu Chen, Brian Orser and many others.

2006 will be the 25th anniversary of Disney’s first ice show. “Walt Disney’s World on Ice” premiered July 14, 1981 in New Jersey featuring 60 skaters and 4 acrobats. The show first went international in 1986 with a performance of “Happy Birthday Donald Duck” in Japan. Today Disney On Ice is made up of 5 North American and 2 international tours.
