October Brings Tricks, Treats and Amazing Feats to the Frank Erwin Center

By the time you read this, you may have heard the news - one of the greatest comedians EVER is coming to the Frank Erwin Center. Dave Chappelle in Concert is on sale now, and if you don’t have a ticket already, you’ll want to get it as soon as you can. If you faithfully watched Chappelle’s Show on Comedy Central or if you rented the DVD’s and watched them a few hundred times, you probably need your fix for some new Chappelle material by now. He’ll be here Sunday, November 13.

In the meantime, the Superstars of WWE SmackDown! will strut their way into the Erwin Center arena to amaze the audience with bone-crushing, body-slamming action. The Superstars will bring plenty of ego, trash talkin and bravado to the ring – especially since this is going to be a televised event! Maybe you could have your moment of fame on the screen – paint your signs, paint yourselves, and you’ll have a good chance. That’s taking into account that you have a ticket...if you don’t, good seats are still available.

Before Chappelle puts the laughter level here in the red, the fans of Luis Miguel will be enjoying a romantic night of Latin music in the arena on November 4. Miguel is touring on his newest album, Mexico en la Piel. It’s not everyday that you can hear the traditional songs of Mexico performed by a world renowned singer.

The Globetrotters are going to be on the UT Longhorns’ home court on February 9. The Trotters have been around now for 80 years, and their routines and comedy just keep getting better. Tickets for the Trotters ‘Unstoppable’ Tour are on sale now.
