Look Who’s Coming...

MOVIN’ OUT
November 1-6 • Bass Concert Hall
5-time Grammy-winner Billy Joel and legendary director/choreographer Twyla Tharp have joined forces to create the spectacular new musical Time Magazine declares “The #1 show of the year!” Movin’ Out brings 24 Billy Joel classics to electrifying new life as it tells the story of five life-long friends over two turbulent decades. Movin’ Out moves into UT PAC’s Bass Concert Hall Tuesday-Sunday, November 1-6.

LUIS MIGUEL
November 4 • The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center
Fasten your seatbelts. It’s going to be a wild ride at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center as the UT Performing Arts Center co-presents Latin American superstar Luis Miguel on Friday, November 4. Following the release of his new album Mexico en la Piel (Mexico Under My Skin), Luis Miguel makes his Austin debut. The Austin American-Statesman put it best, “Now you know where every woman between the ages of 15 and 35 (and plenty of men) will be that night.”

BOWFIRE
November 10 • Hogg Auditorium
The Texas Union Cactus Café and UT Performing Arts Center co-present BOWFIRE, a one-of-a-kind performance featuring an “All Star Show” of the finest fiddle and violin virtuosos ever assembled on one stage. This total string experience takes the audience on a musical journey that moves seamlessly from Jazz, Classical, Bluegrass, Celtic, Rock, Gypsy, World, and Texas Swing, mixing in incredible step and tap dancing and a beautiful voice. Bowfire hits the UT Performing Arts Center’s Hogg Auditorium Thursday, November 10.

BEN FOLDS with The Fray
November 20 • Bass Concert Hall
The Texas Union and UT Performing Arts Center co-present Ben Folds, a man and a piano. This charismatic entertainer provides an enjoyable experience through his prowess as a pianist and his skills on the guitar, bass, and drums. Originally known as a member of Ben Folds Five, he has turned his attention to a solo career and released four solo albums: Fear  of Pop: Volume 1, Rockin’ the Suburbs, Ben Folds Live and Songs for Silverman. Expect a good time and audience participation with Ben Folds on Sunday, November 20.

VIDEO GAMES LIVE!
December 1 • Bass Concert Hall
Immerse yourself in one of the most talked about entertainment experiences on tour today! Co-executive produced by video game composers Tommy Tallarico (Advent Rising, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Earthworm Jim) and Jack Wall (Jade Empire, Myst III: Exile, Splinter Cell), Video Games LIVE features music from the world’s most popular video games performed by a full concert orchestra and choir, combined with explosive video game segments, lasers and lights to create an exceptional experience like no other. Come see what everyone’s talking about Thursday, December 1 in Bass Concert Hall.
