An Amazing Anthology of Animals!
Kings of the Jungle, Playful Pachyderms, Extraordinary Equines and Shaggy Sheepdogs Make The 134th Edition of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®

The Greatest Show On Earth!®
From the lordly male lions in the Center Ring to a picture of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® rusticity, from prodigious pachyderm performers to exquisitely elegant equines, the 134th Edition of The Greatest Show On Earth® showcases amazing animal acts as never before!
A beautiful day is promised in the buoyant barnyard segment! Joyously presented as part of a full-blown production number complete with checkered print costumes and country-western song, this picture of down-home domesticity is rounded out by Raul and Daniel Rodriguez leading six shaggy sheepdogs in Ring One and Cristian Rodriguez's miniature pony act in Ring Three. "They've been raised together so they're good together," says Christine Winn of the pastoral menagerie. "They're like siblings!"
For the first time in over 20 years, the Center Ring is rife with magnificent male lions as 11 magnificent kings of the jungle join talented trainer Jason Peters for an awesome display of leaps, plank walks, mirror ball balancing and head-in-the-mouth tricks.
In perhaps the most elegant act ever presented in Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey history, beautiful Sylvia Zerbini casts an otherworldly spell-soaring 40 feet above arena skies without the benefit of a net as she orchestrates a stable of extraordinary Arabian and Andalusian equines minus the use of reins. Combining the physical strength of her aerial act with the special interspecies connection of her liberty act, Zerbini exhibits a preternatural physical poise.
Pachyderm professor Troy Metzler presents a panoply of prodigious performers playing together in perfect partnership. There'll be headstands, waltzes, rolls and walking long mounts aplenty during the 134th Edition of The Greatest Show On Earth, and the Picasso of pachyderms Kelly Ann will even paint pictures during the Three Ring Adventure.®
Be sure to pick up a June issue of Applause - we're going to have an 'inside scoop' for our readers about advance ticket sales! The Greatest Show on Earth will be in Austin at the Frank Erwin Center August 17-21. |
